His Excellency Mr. Khaled Rami, Egyptian Minister of Tourism witnesses the launch of ‘Misr Orayba’ or ‘Close to Egypt’, the most anticipated tourism campaign of the region at a glittering ceremony in Dubai Ballroom, JW Marquis Hotel. ‘Misr Orayba’ will promote Egypt in each Arab market and activate tourism inflows to boost the economic recovery of Egypt.
Created by entourage marketing & events in cooperation with the Egyptian Tourism Authority, the launch of ‘Misr Orayba’ campaign was supported and hailed by a large number of journalists from the region, senior dignitaries from the government, celebrities and VIPs.
‘Misr Orayba’ campaign will be active in f countries, Jordan, Lebanon and North African markets including Morocco. ‘Misr Orayba’ campaign is inspired by the insight that Egypt is close to every Arab heart, strong connections of language, customs and traditions apart, Egypt is in close proximity to the Arab countries. The campaign is a result of in-depth market research and media analysis which are the foundations of the marketing plan, and it will showcase Egypt across strategic media channels including television, outdoor, magazines, radio and digital advertising as well as social media platforms.
In his opening speech, His Excellency Khaled Rami said that he is happy that confidence has been restored and Arab tourism inflows to Egypt is on the rise once again. Security and safety is in safe hands as a result tourists can enjoy the Egyptian hospitality they love, once again. In his speech at the launch ceremony, His Excellency revealed positive figures that highlight Egypt’s tourism growth. Tourism inflows from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE registered excellent increase in 2014 and we are looking forward to welcome all the Arab tourism.
Mr. Mohammed Tayem, Managing Director of entourage, highlighted the importance of launching campaign at this strategic time, and announced that a comprehensive marketing campaign is going to be launched across the Arab countries to position Egypt as the most preferred choice for tourism.
Being strategic partners of Egyptian Tourism Authority, the agency celebrated the success of the preceding campaign ‘Misr Wahashtona’ which delivered outstanding results, as well as the current campaign ‘Misr Orayba’. Mohammed Tayem added, “We wish to thank Egyptian Tourism Authority for entrusting entourage for the second year in a row to promote Egyptian tourism in the Arab markets. We are preparing to scale new heights in 2015.”
